This is another uni project where we are tasked to make a modular building based on references. This piece is inspired by Skidrow from Call of Duty MWIII (2023) which is based in New York. Everything in the scene is textured using tillable material instances and a total of four texture sets are used (other than decals): concrete, metal, bricks, fabric. Some additional maps are used for opacity. Tiling issue: A lot of my modular pieces are 3x3 meters, meaning a texcel density of 10.24 in 2k wouldn’t tile properly with 3x2 and 3x1 pieces, that’s why the texcel density of 20.48 was chosen. This is my first time trying to make a modular building with a more professional pipeline, I carry the lessons I learned with me to the next project.
